About Decathlon Korea

Decathlon Korea is part of the DECATHLON Group, one of the world’s leading sporting goods retailers.   We have embarked on a strong, results-oriented multi-year investment journey to succeed in our strategic goals of transformation, innovation and sustainability. 

Decathlon Korea opened its first retail store in Korea in 2018, with a big flagship store in Incheon, Songdo. The second store opened in Starfield Hanam in July 2019 as a mall format, and a third store with that same format opened in Starfield Goyang in July 2020. The fourth store opened in Seoul Jamsil Lotte Zetaplex in Apr 2022. As of August 2024, Decathlon Korea has opened new stores in Gayang and Bundang. Additionally, four more new store openings are including locations in Dongdaemun, Gangnam, Jukjeon, and Yeonsu.

  We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our dynamic Finance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and corporate finance operations. The Finance Intern will assist with financial modeling, budgeting, and various accounting tasks while working closely with experienced professionals in the industry.

Mission

• Assist in financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Conduct market research and financial data analysis.
• Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and reconciliation tasks.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
• Support ad-hoc finance projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.

Other Requirements

• English : Business level (* A high level of English proficiency is required)
• Education :  Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
