[Scope]
This position supports and executes visual merchandising presentations for all DG Stores in Korea according to the standards given by HQ VM. S/he will report to the Visual Merchandising Manager in Korea.
[Key Accountabilities]
- Support and assist VMM in executing visual display presentations to ensure all stores are up to the HQ guidelines' high standards.
- Concept development: Adapt the HQ concept and develop it to fit the local market/merchandise collections. And deliver the new concept to the stores in Korea.
- Communications and Reports: Support VMM with the communication with HQ for weekly window and in-store display setup. Review Visual Visit Reports monthly before archiving.
- Visual Coaching: Provide visual coaching/training to store managers and staff.
- Store Opening: Prepare and set up the new-opening stores with visual tools ordering and new store/windows display setups.
- Showroom and Event Setup: Set up the showroom for various events/functions. Work with the PR/Retail Operations Department for any event visual setup.
- Visual Tools Expense Coordination: Support and assist VMM with VM Budget Planning and coordinate with the Finance Department for correct visual expense payment; Coordinate with the Logistics Department for shipping/storage arrangements.
[Qualifications]
- University Degree
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in fashion retail
- High level of creativity
- A flair for merchandising display
- Positive attitude and good energy
- Ability to work on all levels of organization
- Flexible under scrutiny and open to constructive feedback
- Excellent planning and communications skills
- Fluent in English
